Nine-year-old Elli has only one wish: a room for herself. But that's not that easy with two brothers, a single mum and a turbulent everyday life. Help comes from her friend Nursemin, a future poet with an never-failing feel for language and other important things in life. Between funny adventures and profound conversations, the two discover that retreat and privacy, peace and cosiness can also be found in unusual places - in the middle of the housing estate, where the green peeks through the old fence. A rusty nail also helps them gain unexpected respect.
